So tomorrow is my husbands birthday and what do I do? I go buy myself a new outfit. That sounds pretty selfish, right? Yeah, I know, I am an awful person. But I got him something too. I went to Journeys and bought the old school Converse All Star Chuck Taylor high tops, and then I also got him the March issue of Playboy. See? I am a pretty rad wife. Unfortunately March's cover girl was one of the New York housewives. At least it was the hot one. Anyhoo, I went to New York and Co at 8:40 pm and the store was about to close and they had some cute sale stuff so I hurried to the fitting room with an armful of clothing. They had a really cute white bandage skirt but the smallest size left was a 6 and that store's sizes run quite big. I mean, I can wear a size 0 there, which is all right with me. I'm all "Hell yeah! Bring on the 0's!". But the top you see pictured below is sweater material but was on sale for $9.99 and since it is short sleeved I figured I could get some use out of it before having to stash it away for the summer. Also, I tried on what NY & Co called denim leggings- I don't like the word "jeggings", creeps me out. I love them. They are tight, dark blue indigo with ankle zippers, Ankle Zippers!! I don't want to take them off. In fact as I type this I am wearing them and these photos were taken yesterday. Also, the neon green tank you see is actually from my place of employment- Hooters. It has the name on the front but is hidden by my sweater. In the last pic you can see at the bottom of the tank it says "Panama City Beach" in purple. Usually I only wear these shirts to bed but I liked the pop of green under the blue. I've also read that neon accents are big for Spring/Summer so I guess it will have more use to me than lying on the floor after I crawl under the covers. Yes, I sleep topless. hat did you think I was referring to? Get your minds out of the gutter. So on a more serious note, you can find the blue top I am wearing for $9.99, it also comes in black and white: http://www.nyandcompany.com/nyco/browse/productDetailWithPicker.jsp?productId=prod1910148&categoryId=cat60162&productId=prod1910148&categoryId=cat60162
I could not find the denim leggings on the website, but you should be able to find them in the store. I highly recommend them.
