All you have to do to enter is become a follower if you are not already and leave a comment with your email address. That's it! Give away ends next Thursday, May 6 at Midnight. This give away is open to you out of the States as well. I will ship Worldwide.
Product Description
The Carrie Diaries is the coming-of-age story of one of the most iconic characters of our generation. Before Sex and the City, Carrie Bradshaw was a small-town girl who knew she wanted more. She's ready for real life to start, but first she must navigate her senior year of high school. Up until now, Carrie and her friends have been inseparable. Then Sebastian Kydd comes into the picture, and a friend's betrayal makes her question everything. With an unforgettable cast of characters, The Carrie Diaries is the story of how a regular girl learns to think for herself and evolves into a sharp, insightful writer. Readers will learn about her family background, how she found her writing voice, and the indelible impression her early friendships and relationships left on her. Through adventures both audacious and poignant, we'll see what brings Carrie to her beloved New York City, where her new life begins.

OOTD-30 Day Challenge Days 27, 28, 29 and 30!

Yay! I have finally reached day 30 of my challenge. For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, I realized I have so many clothes that don't get worn so I challenged myself to wear a different article of clothing every day for a month. Shoes included. Trying to wear a different pair of shoes every day for 30 days was the hard part. I think I had two shoe repeats. But that helped me realise what should stay in my closet and what shouldn't. I could probably do another 30 days of different clothes but I am definitely out of shoes to wear. The 30 Day Challenge is definitely something to try if you have a lot of clothes that don't get worn. So I give you the last four days of my challenge.

Eye Candy

There's nothing like waking up 20 minutes early to a screaming child and a dog who had gone number 1 and number 2 in her own kennel, and then decided to sit in it. Yay! If anyone else has woken up on the wrong side of the bed I hope these pictures cheer you up.

Ebay Purchases

Well, here are two of the three dresses I got on Ebay. I'm pretty happy with them both. I was actually VERY happy with my Tracy Reese dress when I saw the same exact dress in a store today on sale for $150. I paid $60. $60 for a $350 dress! Yay me! Now I have my eye on the polka dot, Zac Posen dress on ebay but I won't pay more than $50 for it. That and the pink and blue belt. I want them in my closet. Some people are trying to sell that belt for $60. It only costs $25 in stores or online. Unfortunately they will probably get those prices for it since they sold out so fast. Anyway, I have some pretty pics coming soon and hopefully another giveaway so don't forget to become a follower!

OOTD-30 Day Challenge Days 23, 24, 25 and 26

Not much to say at the moment. Though if anyone ca tell me where to find a pair of the Jessica Simpson Dany shoe before July that would be great. As far as I can tell they are sold out everywhere. (size 8 if you find them) I have to have these shoes. And I know the moment they become available they will be sold out. Ebay has them but the sellers are just awful-charging up to $350 for $100 shoes. Crazy right? It should go by fast though. I mean, I feel like I found out about the Zac Posen collection ages ago and that went by pretty fast. Anyway, I'm not going t bore you with my ramblings tonight. Here is what I wore for the past four days.

I Pray At The Temple Of Zac or Christmas Came Early This Year

I know some bloggers have disagreed, but I think this is by far the best Target/designer collaboration. I love every piece! I went to my local target Saturday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised when I noticed the collection was already out. The fitting room attendant told me it had been out for a few days already. Well thank God I got there when I did because there were only a few sizes left. I grabbed them as fast as I could and hauled ass to the fitting room. I loved everything. The tiger print sailor dress was the one I looked forward to the most but I ended up liking them all equally. The black sweater dress is super flattering, the chambray dress is very cute and I added the bronze bathing suit top underneath. With a few buttons undone is gives it more of a sexy look. The snap tape dress is very cool and so is the tiger dress I have been wanting so badly. Unfortunately they did not carry the polka dot dress or the braided belts. If anyone comes across that dress in a size 3 or 5, or the colorful belt I will paypal them some money to pick it up for me. I have found the dress on ebay but the sellers have jacked the prices up. Anyway, I had to do a quick post on my love for Zac Posen, and I have an outfit post coming up soon.

OOTD-30 Day Challenge Days 21 and 22

I have spent the day organizing my shoes in my tiny walk-in closet. Not fun! I'm sure it would be easier if I didn't have so many. I think I counted 48 pair of heels. And I try weeding them out, I really do, or I should say I really have. Today I donated 2 pair and when I moved a month ago, I got rid of at least another 5. Shoes are like artwork, they don't get used a lot but they are pretty to look at. So anyway, I bought a shoe shelf from Target for $25 and it holds 20 pairs. But what I did was put one shoe from each pair so it holds 40 different heels. I then put the other half of each pair in shoe boxes, so each box has two different shoes. It looks nice, kind of retail-ish. The only problem is finding the other half of a pair I want to wear. Maybe I'll just get another shoe rack and do away with the boxes so I can actually pair my shoes up. I don't like boxes because I need to see my options out in the open.

On another topic, I just got done watching The Lovely Bones. Good movie, kind of weird, but good. But I do like the book a lot better. Isn't that how it always is. Not many movies can live up to the book. Next up on my movie list is New Moon. I haven't seen it yet because my husband refuses to watch it. The only way the movie will be better is if Edward Cullen has more air time than he does in the book. OK, I really didn't mean to write so much, so on to the clothes.

Floral Tunic: Blue Asphalt (wet seal)
Pink Tank: Old Navy
Purple/Pink Striped Scarf: New York & Co
Skinny Jeans: American Eagle
Purple Pumps: Wet Seal
Day 22-Thursday (take my son to school)
Gray Black Fringe T-Shirt: Anna Sui (target)
Black Jeans: Gap
Black Peep Toe Booties: Charlotte Russe

Same day
Printed Silk/Cotton Dress: Tibi
Black Braided Belt: American Eagle
Black Ankle Strap Heels: Old Navy

Bad Rae!

Rebecca Taylor "Olivia" Dress
Tracy Reese Peplum Dress

Rebecca Taylor Ruffle Dress
I have a problem. You may have read a bit about it in the About Me section. I am a shopping addict. I am also an Ebay addict and the two go hand in hand. Last week I had bid on 5, yes 5, different dresses. My thinking was that I would place one bid each and if I got out-bid, oh well. I thought I would maybe win one of those dresses. I mean, they were all Rebecca Taylor and Tracy Reese for under $60. Well guess what? I won 3...oops. Annnnd...my husband found out. That right there is the problem. I buy and I don't tell him, so he thinks I am lying to him. I said I never lied, I just didn't tell him. Men! Anyway, all is good, he bought himself a new cell phone so he's happy and I have three new dresses on the way. Yay! I have a yellow/green Rebecca Taylor that should be here tomorrow, a green peplum Tracy Reese that might be here on Saturday, and a printed Rebecca Taylor that I hopefully receive sometime during the middle of next week. I will post pics of what they look like on. In the meantime here are the pics from Ebay. Actually, now that I see these dresses next to eachother I realized I bought two dresses of the same color. Oh well!

OOTD-30 Day Challenge Days 17, 18, 19 and 20

I know I have been MIA for a few days but in the last week I have only had one day off and only then because I called in sick. (I found out I wasn't actually scheduled that day so no harm, no foul) So on my one day off I spent some time with the hubby and later that afternoon with my son. Though he wouldn't call it quality time, he would probably say it was torture. Six year old boys DO NOT like haircuts. They kick and scream and yell "IT'S ITCHY" the whole time, so that is why they get super short buzz cuts. The shorter the hair the longer in between haircuts. (thank God) Even my little Chorkie, Molly received a hair cut. Though if she could she would probably also say it was torture. After I was done making my family look nice because I LOVE THEM, we went out for pizza. So here are my outfits from the past 5 days. There is no outfit for Sunday though. I catered at the local Jazz festival and decided to spare you the horror that is my uniform. Before I forget, the Cynthia Vincent and Eugina Kim lines for Target are great. As you will see below I got the Cognac wedges and may go back for the flat black sandals. I have been wanting to get my hands on the colorful wedges she did but my Target is not carrying them. Maybe online? As for the hats, there were 3 that I liked but I have not committed to buying one yet. They are very cute and perfect for summer. I may go back for the straw fedora with black floral detailing on the side. On the other hand I may need to save my money for Zac Posen on Sunday.

OOTD-30 Day Challenge Days 13,14,15 and 16

Happy Friday! More like crappy Friday for me. I have to work tonight, then Saturday and Sunday I have to help cater The Seabreeze Jazz Festival. At least my husband will be there. We both work for a local catering company. It's seasonal but the pay is awesome. So I will not have a day off until next Saturday. Booo! So it looks like I am half way through my 30 Day Challenge. For anyone who has just come across this, I am challenging myself not to wear any article of shoes or clothing more than once for 30 days. Well as of yesterday I have repeated 2 different pair of shoes and 1 belt. Not too bad-hopefully I can go the rest of the month without repeating anything. Since we don't have the weekend off yesterday my husband and I took our 6 year old go-carting, then we made fish tacos and cucumber salad and watched Harry Potter and The Order Of The Phoenix. The tacos were awesome. we took frozen, seasoned Tilapia and baked it for 30 minutes and put slices on soft shell tortillas with lettuce, sour cream, cucumber and taco sauce on top. Yum! Then for the cucumber salad I mixed plain yogurt with sour cream, sugar, salt, pepper and white wine vinegar and put that on top of thin cucumber slices and yellow onion. Good stuff. And as for the Harry Potter movie-that was actually the first one I have ever seen, and I think I need to see the previous ones. It wasn't all that confusing and I was surprised I actually liked it. So anyway on to the clothes:
