So I showed you in my last post some things I am interested in at H&M for my trip to Las Vegas. Well my list for Zara is a lot longer. It must be because Zara has a lot more on their site than H&M, unfortunately their prices are twice as much too. I may only be able to end up purchasing 2 maybe 3 pieces. We'll see. Behold my (long) Zara wish list. Sorry for layout. I'm still trying to get the hang of putting pics where I want them. I think Blogger makes it too difficult to move pics but maybe that's just me.
My husband, the kids and myself are going to visit my mother and step-father in Arizona in about a week and a half. So excited! But since my husband and I have not had a real vacation (just the 2 of us) in almost 6 years, we are leaving the boys with my parents for a couple days and driving 2 hours up to Las Vegas. I booked our hotel through Jetsetter, which I think is part of Gilt Groupe, so I got us a nice room at The Palms Casino and Resort for half price. It's not right on the strip, only about 1.5 miles away and we have a car. With everything this hotel has we will barely have to leave the hotel anyway. Well you know this girl is going shopping. I'm afraid Chandler won't let me out of sight with the debit card. I only really have to go to H&M and Zara, and maybe Urban Outfitters. Yes, here in PCB we even don't have a UO. Sad I know. Anyway, I have started putting together a list of must sees for each store and here is mine for H&M. All the pics taken from their website which by the way I have not been on in a while. I can't believe they don't offer on-line shopping, their site looks like its ready for it.
Seriously. I think about 90% of the time you will find me wearing a dress. Not very creative but so easy. One garment, add shoes, maybe some accessories and you're out the door. Especially here in the panhandle. With the exception of the past few days it has already been almost 90 degrees this year. So hot. I hate it so I stay cooler by wearing a dress. More breezy. The past couple days have been in the upper 70's during the day and around 50 at night. I would be the happiest person if it was like that year round. Plus you could wear your Fall/Winter stuff at night and your Spring/Summer stuff during the day. If anyone knows a place like this let me know. I'm moving there.
dress: Deja Vu (local store, very cool stuff here), heels: Charlotte Russe
dress: Free People, boots and belt: Mossimo Supply Co.- Target
I think this girl is so cute. Vogue photographed fashion assistant, Cynthia Smith's outfits for one week. The two below are my favorites. The first is probably masculine dressing at it's best; blazer, oxford shirt and tie. Awesome. She's wearing mint green Rag & Bone jeans and a silky Equipment blouse. In the next photo I love the pink and blue paired together. I would never had thought they would look right but she proves me wrong. I guess you can wear any colors together nowadays. She's wearing Celine pre-fall trousers, a Celine bag, and Prada platforms. She also has these shoes in black. Lucky girl.
I hope everyone had an awesome Mother's Day yesterday. After lunch with the in-laws my hubby had to work so it was just me and the boys for a few hours. Then we watched The Green Hornet with Seth Rogan and Cameron Diaz last night. Okay movie. Anyway, I haven't done any outfit posts in awhile so here you go. I think I may need to come up with a new pose though.
Wore this dress once and got a stain on it. Hopefully the cleaners can do something.
dress: Theme (dillards, sizes S and M here), shoes: Antonio Melani (also dillards)

I am a twenty-something and who's married to her high school sweetheart. I've wanted to do something in fashion since I was 14 but things don't always turn out as planned so I started a style blog as a place to display/ talk about my obsession.
