I've had this dress for quite a while but I'm not sure what kept me from wearing it sooner. I think I was afraid of ruining it since it's so pretty. I love the shape and embroidery, it's just gorgeous. And the bottom was pretty nasty by days end but lucky for me this dress is machine washable and it came right out. My husband and I want to renew our vows and a dress like this would be perfect for a casual beach ceremony.

Edge of Summer

So I guess the Zara sale starts tonight. I think around midnight, maybe earlier. I can't put the links to what I'm wearing because it just takes you to the sale page. I have my eye on a few things but I'm not planning on going crazy. There are 2 or 3 dresses and a jacket I like but I won't get it all. If I remember correctly last season when the sale first started they only marked things down by maybe $20. Hopefully they will start it off better this time around but probably not since their stuff isn't too expensive though when you are shopping the price seems to add up pretty quickly. I guess we will find out around midnight.

Plain Jane

I really like hats but never seem to wear them. While I was at Target the other day I saw this one and had to get it. I like the colors and that it has a bill on it. What do you think? Is it cute? Or is it too Grandma-ish? 

Yay Shopbop!

I love when Shopbop has a sale because it doesn't happen often. I just bought the Bec & Bridge Cloud Shift Dress. But I also have my eye on a pair of Camilla Skovgaard heels, Marc by Marc Jacobs jeans, Joie Oasis Dress, and an A.L.C. sweater.

Lately I've been finding myself quite obsessed with outfits consisting mostly of black or white. It seems you can never go wrong with this basic color combination. Very simple but also very sexy. I may have to give it a try. If you notice, I seem to wear quite a lot of color and prints, but I think it's time to simplify it a bit.

Bunhead

With this outfit I was pretty much going for ballerina-esque. The bun, which I was pretty happy with, the girly dress, and the pink-ish heels. Though in these pics you can tell I look pretty uncomfortable in front of the camera. Maybe it's because I'm not hiding behind my big sunglasses...
