I'm so proud of myself! I didn't really make an 'official' New Year's Resolution, but it just so happened to be January 1st when I started going to the gym and I've been 6 out of the last 8 days. I don't really have any excuses not to when the place we moved to has a gym right on site. The only thing I'm missing is group fitness classes, which I love. Zumba, Pilates yoga, spinning...I may have to check into the gym a block away and see what their class prices are. Also, I found this really cool app called Noom that helps you stay on track (if anyone's interested). It has a built in pedometer and exercise component where if you are say a runner, walker or biker it will track your trails. Or if you just use the treadmill or elliptical like I do you just hit 'Start Workout' and it will keep track of calories burned. Plus you can enter all your meals too. Sorry I'm so excited about this app. Lame right? But definitely check it out if you've also started working out this year.
